-Understand the commutative (2+3 is the same as 3+2) and associative properties of addition 3+ (4+5) is the same as (3+4) +5
-Count by ones and tens to 120, read and write numbers to 120, represent a number of objects up to 120 with a numeral
-Compare pairs of 2-digit numbers using the greater than, less than, equal to symbols
-Add 2-digit numbers using at least 2 different strategies and explain how these strategies work
-Find 10 more or 10 less than various 2-digit numbers and explain the reasoning behind the answer
-Subtract 2-digit numbers that are multiples of 10 using at least 2 different strategies and explain how the strategies work
-Put 3 objects in order by length, compare the lengths of 2 objects indirectly by comparing them to a third
-Measure length using non-standard units such as Popsicle sticks, linking cubes, etc
-Tell and write time to the hour and half-hour on analog and digital clocks
